For 35 years The Vans Triple Crown Of Surfing has been sharing and celebrating one of the most significant sporting series in the world. The Hawaiian Pro, The Vans World Cup Of Surfing and The Billabong Pipe Masters make up the three event series that crowns The World Surf League – WSL Champion, determines the new WSL Championship Tour and names the best professional surfer of The Hawaiian winter season in dramatic fashion.

This year The Vans Triple Crown Of Surfing which takes place on November 12th – December 20th, 2017 will bring one of the tightest World Title Races in recent history to the North Shore of Oahu. All four title contenders John John Florence Hawaii, Gabriel Medina Brazil, Jordy Smith South Africa and Julian Wilson of Australia are confirmed to compete in one or more of the events at The Vans Triple Crown.

At the start of the World Title Championship season back in February of this year, prior to The Men’s Quicksilver Pro and Roxy Women’s Pro which kicked the season off on the Gold Coast in Australia. I named my top contenders for the 2017 Men’s World’s Championship Title and they were John John Florence Hawaii, Jordy Smith South Africa, Julian Wilson Australia, Gabriel Medina and Filipe Toledo of Brazil. As this title now comes down to the wire I am going to predict that John John Florence of Hawaii will win back to back World Championship Titles. Florence’s background surfing experience in Hawaii with support from the local surfing community in Hawaii will prove to be the winning edge. Whatever the outcome it is sure to be a fantastic world title race showdown in some of the most dangerous waves on the planet.
