K2 Ride Snowboards Acquired By Kohlberg & Company For $240 Million

K2 parent company Newell Brands INC has signed an agreement to sell it’s winter sports business which include brands, Ride, Vokl, Marker, Dalbello, Madshus, Line, Fulltilt, Atlas, Tubbs and BCA, to Kohlberg & Company a private equity firm specializing  in middle market investing.

Kohlberg and Company acquired the brands from Newell Brands for $240 million. The sale of the winter sports, division is part of Newell Brands ongoing strategy to accelerate growth by simplifying and strengthening it’s portfolio according to the announcement.
