Onboard New Surf Shop In Byron Bay

Onboard have opened a new Surf Shop in Byron Bay – New South Wales located on the East Coast of Australia. The store itself is a luxury surf shop. Vintage photographs of Channel Islands team riders line the walls, there is a shaping bay and all the major surf fashion brands are stocked.

Onboard Industries were established in 1986 and have been operating from it’s headquarters in Mona Vale, New South Wales on Sydney’s northern beaches. Shortly there after The Onboard Store became the go to spot for Channel Islands, Simon Anderson, Insight and Rod Dalberg surfboards. While retailing the best surf and hardgoods equipment on the market to the surfing public.

What the new Onboard Store in Byron Bay is trying to do is have every style of board that caters to all surfers, longboards, fishes, and high performance short boards. Onboard would like to offer all varieties of surfing. For the guy who surf’s on weekends, or the local guy you see in the line up every day. There is a strong focus on surf culture, from the books they stock to the labels that line the racks. Aside from Al Merrick surfboards you will also notice a range of shapers. Twin fins from Morning Of The Earth surfboards master craftsman Simon Jones, Hayden Lewis, Simon Anderson and some great looking Campbell Brothers bonzers and Catch Surf foamies.

Good point breaks and fun beach breaks define the North Coast wonderland of Byron Bay. So It’s no surprise to see the latest surf shop opening to the public which boasts a great range of surfboards catering to Byron Bay – Surf City …
